Timber Decking

TIRED OF MERBAU? WANT SOMETHING MORE HIGH-END THAN TREATED PINE? ON A BUDGET AND NEED A BARGAIN? HAVE AN EXISTING COLOUR PALETTE THAT YOU HAVE TO TIE IN WITH? LOOKING FOR AN AUSTRALIAN HARDWOOD DECKING SPECIES BUT DON’T KNOW WHERE TO START?

It sounds like you should drop in for a chat with one of our timber experts to find the right option for your next projects project. We have many different options to suit all tastes, budgets and site conditions. We always say “you wouldn’t go 4WDing in a sports car or go jogging in high heels, so make sure you get the right timber for your particular job”. We have most species in stock in our warehouse and if we don’t have the species you need, we can probably get for you direct from the mill. We are now also offering several species of engineered decking that are finger joined into fixed lengths of 5.4m and 6.0m! Come in to our show room to see it for yourself. The boards are gun-barrel straight and an absolute pleasure to lay, meaning you will save time and money, not having to muck around straightening boards and throwing away 5-10% in offcuts. Most species in this range are available in 135 x 19mm and 85 x 19mm profiles.

We stock most types of timber decking. We are always getting new species in stock and have regular specials. Our decking is available in both wide boards (130-140mm) and narrow boards (80-90mm) and there are options in 19mm, 25mm and 32mm thick. We also have finger joined fixed lengths in several species and have several options available that come pre-oiled in a range of finishes. Commonly stocked decking species include: Merbau, Cypress (140 x 35mm), Ironbark- Grey and Red, Silvertop Ash, Blackbutt, Spotted Gum, Jatoba, Jarrah, Blue Gum, Treated Pine, Lunawood, Southern Mahogany, Karri and the beautiful Darwin Stringybark.
