Rose Gum, also known as Flooded Gum, is sourced from sustainable plantations. This beautiful hardwood is readily available and harvested mainly for decking, cladding, flooring and joinery. It has decorative applications in high quality furniture, but also has a range of general construction uses due to its Class 2 above ground durability rating (15 – 40 years). As its name suggests, Rose Gum has heartwood that is pink to red-brown in colour, with paler sapwood. The timber is predominantly straight grained and has been H3 treated against pests and decay, making it an exceptional choice for decking. Available in 4.9m set lengths for $10.70 per lineal meter.
